15 killed asthe result of massive rain, windstorms wreak havoc in parts of country

Windstorms and substantial rain on Wednesday evening strike at some other areas of the state including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, while billboards and trees were uprooted as roofs and walls fell killing at least 15. As many as 75 men were injured as the result of deadly windstorm.

Electricity vanished after some pylons in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa effected after thunderstorm. Rawalpindi, the Metro bus station’s roof at the 6th Road, fell and the bus service was stuck.
