Fresh US elected President Donald Trump has encouraged Theresa May for the improved UK/US relations.
Downing St said while Mrs May congratulated him on his success both sat down for the peace talk.
Mr Trump, whose mother was Scottish, said the UK was a “very, very special place for me and for our country”.
Boris Johnson has encouraged Mr Trump’s critics to discontinue the “whinge-orama” and be “favorable about the chances”.
Mr Trump has contacted several world leaders in the aftermath of his surprise success including those of Israel, Ireland, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, India, Japan and South Korea. Mrs May is believed to have been.
