Only a few days past filmmaker Rohit Shetty verified that Parineeti Chopra has been cast for Golmaal 4. The filmmaker said, “It feels great to know that people are eagerly awaiting Golmaal Again. This proves that cinegoers love the franchise that began its journey over 10 years ago. Parineeti is our new Golmaal girl, she completely fits the bill. We are excited to release our film on Diwali”.
This is the first time when we will be seeing Pari in a comedy film and the actress is extremely excited to be a part of it. However, will she be able to replace Kareena in the film? The actress spills the beans.. In an exclusive interview to Mid-day, Parineeti opened up about her role in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4. She said, “I was always a cuckoo. No wonder they thought of me for this film,” she laughs, adding, “No one can fill Kareena‘s shoes. She lent a different charm to the story. Having said that, no actor is capable of doing a lesser of better job than the other. Mine is a completely new character and won’t have hangover of any of the previous films in the series.”
