SRK was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Order of the Arts and Literature) by the French government. He even received the honorary doctorate in arts and culture by the University of Bedfordshire.
Moreover, King Khan went on to become the first Bollywood celebrity to be honoured with the prestigious Chubb fellowship at Yale University. And the latest, he received was an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh for his outstanding record of philanthropy, altruism and humanitarianism.
