Peche Di started Trans Models Because reserving shoots through conventional services was frustrating Peche Di began Trans Models. “They didn’t understand me,” she says.

Peche Di, a Thai beauty queen who studied at New York University, spent five years trying to find an agency to represent her and reserving occasional modeling shows. “They didn’t comprehend me,” she says, “so I struggled to find work.”

Eventually, this past May, she determined to make a move in regards to the dearth of chances for other transgender models.

Four months later, her service has signed 19 models– nine women and 10 men –and has done shoots for Smirnoff and Budweiser. Consultations are continuing using a network executive in regards to a potential reality TV show.

The growing visibility of the model Andreja Peji, the TV celebrity Laverne Cox, the former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner?, and lots of other transgender individuals has made the transgender community a lot more observable.
