Two people died in their car when the car rolled over on Interstate 84 eastbound and clear-fell down an embankment in Southington Tuesday midafternoon.

State police said the happen around 3 p.m. near exit 32.

According to eyewitnesses, the car rolled and tossed down an embankment, and emergency squads immediately reached with heavy equipment to overcome it.

A 75-foot tree drops down and injured 8 kids who were enjoying their summer camp. Two of them critically, officials said.

The pine tree crash down near by 4:45 p.m. when a crew of campers and staff were walking through Brookside Park outside the Kidspace Children’s Museum.

Officials with the Pasadena Fire Department said.

“It’s just such a huge tree — no warning,” said witness Klea Scott. “Massive amounts of pine needles that we couldn’t see if there were more people in there.”
