A private charter jet that crashed into an apartment building in Akron, Ohio, had nine individuals on board, all according to published reports. There have been no reports of injuries or deaths on the floor.
Augusto Lewkowicz, the plane’s owner and operator, told the Akron Beacon Journal that there were seven passengers and two crew members on board. He would not release the names.
The Hawker H25 business jet, which seats 10, was approaching the Fulton Airport, about four miles away, when it clipped power lines and plunged to the building, setting it ablaze in Akron.
The crash occurred about 2:13 pm, according to Dayton International Airport spokeswoman Linda Hughes.
