AMAZING 3! Will this gorgeous actress join the cast of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Padmavati ?

When the manufacturers of Padmavati declared their closing star cast it was only few weeks back during the time of Befikre’s preview launch. There were speculations that Ranveer and Shahid are at loggerheads while Deepika Padukone was constantly a part of this picture. After assurances and much conversations, both the celebrities finally came with Ranveer on board playing with the character of Shahid and Alauddin Khilji as the ruler of Chittor, Raja Raval Ratan Singh. Yet little did we know that another performer was in talks to play with an important character in this film. The celebrity was none other than Aditi Rao Hyadri.

As per reports in a top tabloid, she was in talks with the makers to play with the character of Kamala Devi, one of Khilji’s favourite wives. The Fitoor performer was competing with four other choices after which she was ultimately picked. There had been several meetings that between Bhansali and Aditi and the manager finally decided over four other options. According to historians, during the conquest of Gujarat in 1297, ruin the idol of Somnath and Khilji had sent a large army under his brother Ulugh Khan and general Nusrat Khan to capture Gujarat. After King Rai Karan the then capital, his treasures all fell into the control of Khilji, including his lovely wife Kamla Devi, who became a part of the Sultan’s harem. Khilji fell in love with Kamla and she became his chief Begum.

Five years down the line when Alauddin determined to seize Chittor in 1303, he conquered Raja Raval Ratan Singh and was smitten by his wife Padmavati, who was considered to be the most amazing lady then. Unlike Kamla Devi, who agreed to be a part of his harem, Padmavati refused and opted immortalizing herself by jumping into a burning pyre. While Deepika starts shooting at by year-end, Ranveer’s already jumped into prep. Last weekend was spent by him with Bhansali.

So as he did for Bajirao Mastani will he go bald this time? The answer is certain NO. So that he can reduce his travel time the actor will soon change to his flat in Goregaon. Hence the celebrity came up with this alternative and we consider he’ll follow the same too.
