Another 118 years to close Gender pay gap

The World Economic Forum considers it’s going to take – or until 2133 – until the world-wide pay gap between girls as well as men is eventually closed.

Girls are just now bringing in the sum that guys did in 2006, data from the Global Gender Gap report of the WEF says.

It says progress on closing the disparity has delayed in a period when more girls are going into the workplace recently.

The truth is, almost a quarter of a billion more girls have been in the world-wide work force now than a decade past.

In a number of states, more girls are actually going to university than guys but – crucially – this isn’t always translating into more girls inhabiting leadership positions or proficient jobs.
