As battles continue in West Bank Palestinian killed-Palestinian officials

Palestinian medical officials say as conflicts continue with Israeli soldiers spreading fears of a further escalation, a Palestinian youth was killed.

A physician in the Tulkarem hospital of the land says the 18-year old was killed early. Israel’s military said numerous Palestinians threw rocks at soldiers, rolled burning tires and threw firebombs.

On Saturday, two Israeli men were stabbed by a Palestinian to death and wounded a girl and her toddler in a savage knife attack close to a sacred site which has become the focus.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas telephoned U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to brief him on the unrest.
