The movie directed by Vishal Bharadwaj was an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’. Place in the backdrop of Kashmir, the film revolved around the lives of his mom, Haider and uncle. The film dealt with Haider’s troubled relationship together with his mom after she marries her late husband’s younger brother.

Haider is about a son’s mission to take revenge on his father’s killers.
