Azhar box office update: Emraan Hashmi and Nargis Fakhri’s film earns Rs 20.80 crore in the first weekend!

Nargis Fakhri, Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai’s movie – Azhar based on the life of Mohammed Azharuddin received mixed response from the crowd along with critics. It set to be finish its first week on a good note.

As trade analyst Taran Adarsh mentioned about Azhar‘s collections in his tweet, “#Azhar Fri 6.30 cr, Sat 7 cr, Sun 7.50 cr. Total: ₹ 20.80 cr. India biz… Growth in biz: Sat over Fri 11.11%, Sun over Sat 7.14%”

Azhar has managed to grow over the weekend and create a strong foundation to grow although the movie hasn’t broken any records. Though Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor’s Baaghi, Marvel’s Captain American: Civil War continue to perform well at the box office.

Azhar is going to have wonderful first week as a result of favorable word of mouth marketing it gets.
