In a candid interview with a leading daily, Karan said that, “For me being trendy is a multi billion dollar business.” But is the director so fetish he says and when it comes to styling, ” I am merely saying there will probably be paparazzi, so get your airport look right. And if you’ve so much of a problem, then take the train!” The director later joked saying, “Sometimes it’s funny how a cost of your airport look is the cost of the tickets. Airport styling has become so popular that it is more significant than where you’re going or what you’re doing.”

Karan has agreed that he loves to criticise anyone for their fashion hits ans misses. “ Varun, Alia and Sidharth get messages from me constantly, with screen catches asking them why a particular outfit has been worn by them, he adds.”

He said, “I actually believe that there’s no reason for some people to not make an effort to not seem bad. Sometimes, folks just wear things that do they are complimented by n’t.
