Business Update, Microsoft to help track legalised marijuana sales

Microsoft has teamed up with California-based technology startup Type Fiscal, which helps companies and government agencies monitor sales of legalised cannabis “from seed to sale”. It’s the first- venture of its type for Microsoft.

Type continues to be selling its grass tracking applications to authorities and companies for three years.
The startup will be capable work on the authorities cloud of Microsoft.

Type’s applications, which is called Agrisoft Seed to Sale, “closes the loop between marijuana-related businesses, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions,” a press release said.
