The McDonald’s store in the home of former leader Chiang Ching-kuo in Hangzhou, China’s has started a debate.
Conservationists had called a social history website, for the apartment, to become changed into a memorial.
But authorities stated simply because they had a need to protect maintenance expenses.
Mr Chiang’s grandson among others have voiced their problem within the commercialisation of the website.
The 100-seat McCafe opened inside the lower storey of the villa, found by the West River tourist interest in the city, over the weekend.
The top of storey booked out by officers, houses a Starbucks store which exposed per month earlier.
Chiang Ching-Kuo is the son of leader Chiang Kai and innovative figure -shek, who left for the island in 1949 following the Civil War.
Chiang Ching- Kuo get to be Taiwan in 1978’s chief.
Chiang Ching- Hangzhou authorities designated it a national heritage website in 2003, and Kuo remained inside the apartment from April 1948, to December.
