Conscious SISTER Karisma doesn’t want Kareena to take pregnancy advice from anyone, find out why?
For actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, her sister Karisma has consistently given her the best life lessons. Now that Kareena is expecting her first child, her older sibling has proposed to her to stay from everyone’s advice and to follow her instinct.
“Well, my guidance (to Kareena) is, ‘Don’t take guidance from anyone because everyone has some sort of advice to give to your mom-to-be’. When asked if she has given some hints during this phase of her life to her younger sister I believe that you should just learn from expertises and own instinct,” Karisma, a mother of two, told IANS.
Kareena is reported to be expected for delivery in December with her first child with actor-husband Saif Ali Khan.Breaking convention, Kareena took to the ramp for designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the end of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Gay 2016 here on Sunday night.
Karisma said proudly that her younger sister has always believed in setting crazes.”Kareena is consistently a trendsetter. To doing movies like ‘ Chameli’ so early in her career till now, walking the runway in this period… right from her first picture ‘Refugee’ I ‘m excited,” said the performer who was seen encouraging from the front row of the show for Kareena, sitting next to Deepika Padukone.
Referring to trend, Karisma says that she has never taken the pressure of looking great.”I think I never take the pressure. Through the years, I have evolved and my style is not quite insignificant in the sense that I adore classic cuts and I love a sophisticated look that was elegant, so I’ve consistently stuck to that for so many years,” Karisma told IANS.
Additionally, comfort is the key for her.”I believe you might have to be comfortable in what you wear. Should you be uncomfortable, people will not be comfortable seeing you. Therefore I think relaxation is very important. I believe in what I wear. I wear many key pieces which I ‘ve had in my own cupboard, so it’s always fine to combine the old and the new she said.
