Scottish nurse Pauline Cafferkey continues to be admitted to hospital for the 3rd time since getting Ebola in 2014.

Wellness officials said she’d been under routine observation from the Infectious Diseases Unit but was now in hospital for additional investigations.

The 40-year old from South Lanarkshire has been treated at Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Ms Cafferkey was treated at London’s Royal Free Hospital twice in 2015 after getting Ebola in Sierra Leone.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said: “Under routine observation by the Infectious Diseases Unit, Pauline Cafferkey continues to be admitted to hospital for additional investigations.”

The nurse, from Halfway, Cambuslang, got the virus while working within a British team in the Kerry Town Ebola treatment centre in 2014.
