Energetic youthful Pakistan lights up the stage in the 14thLUX Style Awards
KARACHI: A glamorous red carpet, a stunning stage, a star in every row, the 14th LUX Style Awards had it all.
Led by the dynamic and youthful new strain of music maestros, directors and film stars, this is an LSA that observed both new age entertainment and style that is incredible.
Hosted by the much beloved pair of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, the occasion, known instead as the Oscars and affectionately as the LSAs in Pakistan, set out to amuse from your word go. The show started having a grand performance of Sabri Brothers’ substantially enjoyed rendition to TajdaareHaram (by GhulamFaridSabri), a tune that’s recognized as a landmark in universe of Qawwali Music.

Zoe Viccaji for Dareeche won via Viewer’s Choice survey the award for The Best Music Record, while FarhanSaeed Roiyaed Tune of the year.
The PyareyAfzal of ARY swept NadeemBaig for Best Director, Javed Sheikh for Best Performer, Aiza Khan for Best Celebrity, Khalil urRehmanQamar for Best Writer and the TV Prizes winning five awards, including Best TV Serial.
Sana Safinaz while Nomi Ansari won his second LSA for Achievement, walking off with Accomplishment in High-End Pret Layout Pret and Yard controlled the Trend Awards.
Hair and Make-Up maestro Nabila won her 9th LUX Style Award as Nadir Firoz Khan stepped up while Images saw a fresh victor. Amna Ilyas was held Greatest Female Model andShehzad Noor was Finest Male Model. Model SadafKanwal, who performed in the LSAs, was adjudged Best Emerging Talent.
The LUX Style Awards have paid homage and recognized the efforts of people who developed the style and entertainment sectors.
Designer Maheen Khan gave the Life Achievement in Vogue Award to MasarratMisbah of Depilex. Hassan ShehryarYasin who spoke eloquently of her life and work together with the Grin Again Foundation as well as the Fashion industry, honoured Masarrat, who continues to be in the beauty business since the previous 30 years.
The LUX Style Awards continues to be giving away Scholarships annually to deserving students since 2008 to perform their final year dissertation.
The ending had manager and international star RahatFateh Ali Khan FriehaAltafintroducing four faces that are new by coaxing virtuoso performances out of models to film NooreBhatti, Sabeeka SadafKanwal Imam and Fia Khan.
