Fawad Khan and I had zero OFF SCREEN chemistry, says Raees actress Mahira Khan!

Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan happen to be adored for their onscreen chemistry since Pakistani play Humsafar reach the TV screens, but the performer discloses the show’s director wasn’t convinced as a substantially-in love couple. Humsafar that aired in 2011 on Pakistani TV made Mahira and Fawad household names in the state and with the intimate play’s Indian premier last year audience here took liking to their onscreen love story as married couple Khirad and Ashar.

Director Sarmad Khoosat, was nevertheless, believed the play would tank due to their “zero chemistry” and worried about their insufficient interaction.

“But our manager phoned us and said Both of you’re magic’ when the show went on air,” she said.

According to Mahira, who would be seen next in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Raaes”, the reason behind the charm of their pairing is the trust the two actors have in each other.

“We don’t get chemistry. We never did. What we had was the right attitude and we trusted each other,” she said.

“Humsafar” described the mental journey of Khirad and Ashar, who fall in love. The storyline was about two strangers with contrary characters that are strikingly fall in love.
