Varun and Alia start shooting in Mumbai today, for Badrinath Ki Dulhania as reported by Mumbai Mirror. An insider shown, “It’s a fresh story set against a rural backdrop up North. Alia and Varun will be seen in completely new avatars. Shashank locked the script last year and has been conducting reading workshops with the leads since a month now. Shashank, who began the recce early this year has zeroed down on Kota and Jhansi. After this Mumbai schedule, the actors will start filming the second schedule in September.The film’s first love song, to be picturised on the duo in the first schedule, has already been recorded.”
