Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja is a film most of us are waiting for. The actress, who has begun promotions for the film, was teary eyed through the preview launch as that is the most sensitive and significant job she’s worked on.

The narrative revolves around Neerja Bhanot, who was a flight attendant for Pan Am, located in Mumbai, India, who lost her life while saving 359 passengers. She became the youngest recipient of the best peacetime military award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra in India. The celebrity feels privileged to play with the character onscreen.

Sonam was quoted saying, “There are times in a actor’s career when a really special character in a special motion picture comes your way. I feel honoured and humbled to possess the opportunity to essay the role of India’s most youthful Ashoka Chakra awardee.”The movie also stars Shabana Azmi who plays the role of Neerja’s mom, Rama Bhanot. Rama passed away last year but was delighted that a film is made on her daughter.

Aneesh and Akhil Bhanot, who are the brothers of Neerja, shared similar Neerja’s manner will be to Sonam and attended the trailer launching. “Sonam is the best option for this particular movie.
