Funeral prayers for martyrs of militant assault on Badaber base were offered on Friday at Corps Headquarters in Peshawar.

At least 29 people, including an army officer, were martyred following a brazen assault on Pakistan Air Force Camp in the Badaber place in Peshawar early Friday morning, in accordance with the security officials.

The casualties comprise 16 worshipers who have been targeted during Fajr prayers inside the Badaber base camp in a mosque at 6am.

“Terrorists entered camp at 2 points and additional schism in sub groups. Encounter started promptly as a result of rapid answer and they were included within a close place.
