Saif al-Islam Gaddafi and other high-ranked associates of former Libyan regime send to prison by court in Tripoli.

A court in Libya has passed the death warrant of Gaddafi’s son (Saif al-Islam) including other members over war corruption linked to the 2011 revolution.

Saif al-Islam was not physically present in the court and provided evidence and confirmation via video link.

Saif al-Islam being grabbed by a former rebel group from the area of Zintan and the group isn’t ready to hand him over.

Previous head of intelligence of Gaddafi’s organization, Abdullah al-Senussi, is also facing death penalty along with Al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmoudi.

The son of Muammar Gaddafi is missing and was not be able to be the part of court hearing because militia refused to hand him over.

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the most significant member of his father’s regime, prepared for separate hearing as a substitute of western town of Zintan, where he has been grabbed since the end of the war by militia.

Saif al Islam Gaddafi, who was not present during the presidency of his father, was sentenced during a mass trial in Tripoli of murder and he was the reason of inflaming killing during the country’s 2011 uprising.
