Good News: Farhan and Deepika to star in Bejoy Nambiar’s next

Movie Wazir was directed by filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar’s last with two gifted performers Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar for the first time. Now, the director is all set to start his next directorial, a remake of Mani Ratnam directed Agni Natchathiram. Sanam Teri Kasam debutant Harshvardhan Rane and Masaan performer Vicky Kaushal has been roped in for this remake.

As per a popular daily, Bejoy will concurrently shoot for his next and he has approached his Wazir performer Farhan Akhtar to play the lead. The gifted performer has come on board and will be the producer of the movie along with the lead.

A source close to Bejoy disclosed, “Bejoy had written the script years ago but the picture is taking shape just now. It’s his dream project. The first plan was to start this before the remake of the Agni Natchathiram, but the team is yet to zero in on the female lead. Deepika Padukone is among the performers who’ve been approached. The makers are waiting to return in the xXx: Return of Xander Cage shoot.

Farhan and Bejoy haven’t verified the same.
