GREAT SUCCESS! Sonam Kapoor Starrer Neerja Surpasses Rs.50 Crore Mark!

Great news for several of the Sonam Kapoor’s buffs out there. Her latest movie, Neerja, a biopic on the basis of the life span of Neerja Bhanot, the air hostess who lost her life while saving passengers on board hijacked Pan Am flight 73, has gathered Rs.50.12 crore in only 10 days since its launch. Is not it awesome?

The movie, which released on February 19, brought more footfalls as a result of favorable word of mouth within the weekend.

Neerja revolves round the hijacking of Pan Am flight 73. Backed by power and great content -packed performances, the movie is likely to stay strong in the coming days in the box office, says trade analyst Taran Adarsh. “Having crossed Rs.50 crore, ‘Neerja’ should, according to present trending, reach/cross Rs.60 crore by Thursday.
