The performer hopes her next movie Fitoor puts out this message.
“Yes, I am a die-hard romantic person. I expect it comes out from the movie. May be that’s the intention,” Katrina said here.
Fitoor, which means passion or fixation, is the narrative of a budding artiste Noor (Aditya Roy Kapoor) who falls in love with Firdaus (Katrina). And also a picture that is whimsical is painted by the trailer with snow along with a panoramic backdrop. It also hints in the politics surrounding Kashmir.
The movie also stars Tabu, who’s seen as Katrina’s mother in the movie. Talking about her character, Katrina said: “I think it really helps if you believe in love like that. And that is the way I see love. I do believe love is life, love is passion and inherently I believe that. So for me personally, I believe without that belief and confidence, of course it is hard to impersonate a character passionately.”
Based on Charles Dickens’s novel Great Expectations and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Fitoor is slated to release on February 12.
