Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore has launched a gun safety campaign with 80 other celebrities.
Kim Kardashian West, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lawrence and Steve Carell are among the stars who’ve signed up.
Moore said she and her colleagues were “shocked and saddened from the lack of life, and also the daily increase of firearm violence in our beautiful state”.
The group aims to mobilise voters to support measures such as increased background checks.
Moore will chair the new group which will be affiliated with Everytown for Gun Safety, a grassroots community effort which has three million members in the usa.
