How sweet! Katrina Kaif is skipping Cannes for Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who made her Cannes International Film Festival red carpet debut a year ago as the ambassador of aesthetic brand L’Oréal Paris, will be bypassing the esteemed picture gala this year due to “past commitments ”.

“Cannes is a fabulous platform for any artist to attend, and I truly loved the experience a year ago. I have had to decline the opportunity because of prior commitments while the brand invited me to attend Cannes this year,” Katrina said in a statement.

The performer is occupied with Anurag Basu’s coming comedy-drama Jagga Jasoos, also starring Ranbir Kapoor. She additionally has Baar Baar Dekho lined up.

The celebrity included: This is an enormously busy year for me so far, and I am working on some awesome jobs which are really keeping me on my toes. Yet, although I will be giving Cannes a miss this season, I want the wonderful L’Oréal Paris ambassadors who’ll proudly represent India the best and hope next year to attend.”

Katrina was praised by one and all for her sartorial choices and confident stride on the red carpet last year.
Indian stars Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be representing the brand at the big event this season.
