Humor heroes do not get respect says Akshay Kumar

The 48-year old actor added he’s not unhappy to see comics getting plenty of work in films as well as on television now. “They (comics) have plenty of work, there are 180 movies made every year…there are plenty of TV shows occurring and there’s comedy in advertising today.”

Akshay is back having a light hearted movie Singh is Bliing, which likewise stars Lara Dutta Amy Jackson and Kay Kay Menon. The two have previously worked jointly in the actress’ introduction Andaz, Bhaagam Bhaag Housefull among others.
