The China-Pakistan Economic Hallway (CPEC) job was mired with price squabbles in political waters. But amid all this controversy over the CPEC course, New Delhi is running to secure deal for offering a $150 million loan after inking an MoU with Iran.

India intends to let two piers for a decade that would give access to Afghanistan and Central Asian energy markets – avoiding Pakistan to it. Also, in collaboration with Tehran and Moscow, India is looking to create a vast system of increased connectivity with the landlocked Central Asia and eventually Europe, through the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
