B-Town celebs have become casualties of serious backlash and trolls on social networking. Katti Batti celebrity Imran Khan describes the reason behind his absence from social platforms.
At the recent promotion of his forthcoming movie Katti Batti, his views were expressed by Imran about social networking and why does not he use any of these mediums.
“When people have anonymity to hide behind, when they have a username, I find that they speak in a way that they would not speak to a human being.
“It brings out an unusual amount of ugliness, of spite, of venom, and I find that seeing that side of people depresses me. You get a much worse glimpse of them on social media,” he added.
The performer formerly shown that he did not enjoy the script for the picture of Nikhil Advani at first. I failed to get your hands on it after I read the script.
But the narrative was described by the manager in an entirely different angle which he did not think of when he read it to him.
“I started visualising the characters and the moments of the story. I’ve been in this situation. It’s like repeating my personal life,” he said.
In a interview with NDTV, Katti Batti manager Nikhil Advani said Aamir could barely contain his tears. “It is a tearjerker. The last 22 seconds and that I actually needed to sit and hold the tissue carton for Aamir. He’s got copious tears! And he was weeping and weeping and weeping,” he said.
But Aamir declared that Katti Batti resonated with him and that he’s an emotional man and did not shy away from the truth.
“Why should I hide what kind of a person I am… I’m a highly emotional person and I’m not afraid to show it,” he said.
“It’s an extremely emotional and moving story about the beliefs one has in love and the extent to which one goes for those beliefs. It reminded me of moments from my own life.
“The film reminded me of moments that I have been through that were highly romantic, intense and obsessive,” he revealed.
How much the performer was confessing to divulge, he refused to disclose which part of his life he was referring to or who.
