BUSES across the country are set to carry posters praising Allah, it has been announced.
The giant adverts will carry the Arabic words “Subhan Allah” meaning “Glory be to God” and will feature on the giant posters in the end of May. They come as part of the drive to raise cash for Syrian refugees of charity Islamic Relief.
The posters will be carried by public transport in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Bradford and Manchester in the days leading up to religious festival Ramadan, which begins on June 7.
The manager of Islamic Relief, Imran Madden, said the effort was a play to alter negative perceptions of the Muslim community in great britain.
