A tabloid supported this report after a day or two and mentioned that he was sent a quick congratulatory message by Kareena and we have a few more details about Kareena congratulated Shahid and what are her wishes for his ex-boyfriend.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Kareena Kapoor revealed that the reports of her texting Shahid to congratulate him were true. Kareena mentioned, “Of course we (Kareena and Saif) have congratulated them (Shahid and Mira). He is Saif’s co-star in Rangoon and they are going to make a kick ass film. It is going to look fab. It is such a great time because it is a beautiful thing (the arrival of his baby) to happen to anybody in life. I think there are only going to be good things to come now in store for them with the baby and now Rangoon.”
Talking about Rangoon, Kareena further added, “I am most excited about it. I am more excited as I have seen the stills and I think it will be one of the best movies of 2017.”
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor is getting ready for the arrival of her first baby too. The actress is due this December and while reports suggested that she would be delivering her child in London, sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan revealed to us exclusively, “The delivery is not happening in London.”
