IT’s BIG! Shah Rukh Khan will present the Raees trailer to his fans on his 51st birthday!
It makes sound business sense to hitch your trailer to a big movie — it’s a practice these days most producers follow, — but Shah Rukh Khan won’t that with Raees do. He doesn’t want to. The actor-producer will instead present his movie (sans his Pakistani leading lady Mahira Khan, in case you had been wondering) on his 51st birthday (November 2) at the occasion he hosts every year on that date at his bungalow in Bandra.
Instead, the preview of Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, which clashes with Raees on January 26, 2017, will open with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay. The strategy is explained by a source. “SRK and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani usually do not need any comparisons made with some other film. So, their trailer will be released by them a few days after Kaabil.

Before his film’s trailer is released by him the week after Shah Rukh desires the hype around those two trailers to finish.
