The three Khans – Salman Shah Rukh and Aamir have single handedly. These three haven’t gone anywhere, although rookies have come and gone. In fact with time they have only become SUCCESSFUL and LARGER.
With all three of them hitting the mid century 50 mark in 2015, we wondered if the present lot of performers – Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra could step in their heavy duty shoes and rule the roost like they did.
We spoke to two trade experts who gave their point of view and understanding of where super stardom is headed in the the next couple of years. Commerce pro and Editor of Super Cinema, Amul Mohan revealed, “When Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh ?made their introduction ?, we used to make different kind of movies as well as their popularity has grown over time and they’re still relevant today.
They’re still doing? three to four movies each. ? In this class, all these young actors want to get their own space. I don’t think anyone of them aspire to be like a Salman, Shah Rukh or Aamir or even Akshay, because all of these actors have had a long history of doing films and they have a great fan base, which is unparalleled to anyone.
Although this really is a young industry currently, I mean there are plenty of under 25 year old citizens in India, who will have their very own favourites. But those classic actors will often be there and I don’t think because till now we’ve not found the new Amitabh Bachchan, you can replace them.
We have not had a new Amitabh Bachchan, a new Dilip Kumar, so on and so forth, but those actors remain applicable in these times as they may be evergreen performers.”Talking about the newer harvest, Amul added, “The few performers that are doing really well for themselves right now have to be Ranveer Singh because he has had a fantastic year, Varun Dhawan because he has had a phenomenal year too, Sidharth Malhotra too because he exhibited his pedigree in a different avatar?s?, Arjun Kapoor can also be doing lots of films.”
But can there be a brand new Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan? I think all the newer actors will find their own space and maybe ten years down the line, we’ll be talking about who is likely to be Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, the next Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and so on.
Actors are still going to be coming in, movies will still be made, newer talent will still be coming to the industry, so that is a revenant process.”Exhibitor and vendor, Akshaye Rathi also repeats a similar voice the three Khans and their stardom is irreplaceable, but he also reveals that if we go from the characteristics of the the others stars, you are able to make out who’d be the three Khans. As he disclosed to us, “I believe Varun Dhawan can be the next Salman as he has got similar features.
So Varun can do actions, he is able to do humor, he is able to pull that Salman used to do which was exceptionally adored in his early days. Therefore I believe Varun Dhawan can function as the next Salman Khan and he’s that mass appeal also, perhaps courtesy the genes.
He being David Dhawan’s son and you can view that. Till date, he’s not had an individual failure at the box office.”Akshaye subsequently added, “After seeing Ranveer Singh’s range, from a Gunday to a Lootera to a Band Baaja Baarat to a Bajirao Mastani, I would say that Singh can function as the next Aamir Khan.
Potentially, if he ever decides to get his script sense right Ranbir Kapoor can be the following Shah Rukh Khan. He can be an amazing romantic hero if he does the right kind of pictures. Tell us!
