JUST OUT! Why Anushka Sharma was replaced by Deepika Padukone in ‘Tamasha’

Imtiaz Ali’s last offering, ‘Tamasha,’ mightn’t have been a box office success, but the movie was able to create quite a buzz when it declared the return of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor as the lead pair.

We’ve got out control on the actual reason Anushka refused to do the movie while reports did the rounds back then the movie was initially offered to Anushka Sharma.

Based on a report in Open Magazine, the performer refused doing the movie since she believed the character was not meaty enough.

A source was quoted saying in an identical report since it had been an outside an out Ranbir movie that though Anushka wished to work with Imtiaz Ali, she was not impressed by the amount of the character.

And that is the way the movie fell into the lap of Dippy.
