The four -year-old Syrian girl was ending her first trip to her grandparents’ house. Before returning together with her mother, posing for the final family photographs, Raghad dressed up in a pretty blue-and-white polka dot dress and put her hair up in ponytails with barrettes that were red.
About an hour later, the family discovered Russian warplanes overhead along with the missiles struck. Raghad’s grandpa she and another relative were killed.
The girl is among dozens of civilians who activists say have been killed in the Russian air campaign which Moscow says is aimed at destroying other Islamic militants and the Islamic State group.
