Hollywood star Gerard Butler’s upcoming action film “London Has Fallen” has been pushed from its original release date January 22 to March 4 next year.
The film, a sequel to 2013’s “Olympus Has fallen”, centres on an assault on London throughout the funeral of the British prime minister, who has died under mysterious conditions, reported Assortment.
45, Butler, will reprise his character as an ultra-resourceful US Secret Service representative.
It’s directed by Babak Najafi from a script Katrin Benedikt by Creighton Rothenberger and Chad St John.
Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart also star in the film.
“Olympus Has fallen” premiered by FilmDistrict, the United States provider directed by Peter Schlessel prior to him being named CEO of Focus Features.
