Pakistani blockbuster Na Maloom Afraad, a comedy about three men on a quest to get rich quick, swept all the major awards including best film, best actor and best director at the Lux Style Awards, held at Karachi Expo Centre on September 29.

The comedy, which was nominated in seven categories this season, also bagged the film of the entire year award. Shaikh’s son Shahzad Shaikh accepted the trophy on his behalf since he was in the US at the period of the awards ceremony.

The team of Dukhtar, which screened in the Dubai International Film Festival a year ago and was Pakistan’s official entry in the top foreign language picture category in the 2015 Oscars, additionally had a motive to observe thanks to 16-year old Saleha Aref winning the very best actress award.
