But think what it’s not merely KJo, Ms Kapoor has additionally managed to impress another filmmaker along with her biopic.

Sonam ‘s Raanjhanaa director is all praises for the woman. Smash filmmaker Aanand L Rai known for his small town but big ticket films, has been all praise for among his favourite people, -Sonam Kapoor and her outstanding performance in Neerja.Sonam who last worked in Rai’s 100 crore grossing Raanjhanaa formed a special screening of the film for the filmmaker.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, the drama chronicles the courage shown by Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am flight attendant who attempted to save the lives of passengers during a hijacking at Karachi airport in 1986.Aanand Rai who shares a warm equation with Sonam ever since Raanjhanaa was fantastic on seeing the movie , which could only be described as Sonam’s most challenging one this much.

The director was heard raving about her performance in the movie and even maintains that she was perfectly cast in this role.

Said Aanand L Rai,” Neerja is the most HUMANE film I have experienced in recent times. My favorite Sonam Kapoor is at her finest. Her casting is hit on in the movie”.
