MINDBLOWING! Switzerland Keeps The Yash Chopra Legacy Alive By Building His Statue

The renowned filmmaker Yash Chopra lives on through his eponymous work in folks’s hearts. His lens fondly captured the breath-taking locales of Switzerland.

Now the Swiss government is honouring him as a mark of gratitude and salutations, with a statue that is particular. Chopra, who started a heritage of South Asian tourists loved to spend time there.

Natural beauty and warm hospitality marks the organization that his banner Yash Raj Films shares with this country.

This statue will be installed near the Congress Centre, inside the Kursaal place, at the center of Interlaken. While many ministers and senior bureaucrats from the Swiss authorities attended this inauguration, Pamela Chopra and Rani Mukerji were also present for the affair.

The function was organised by Interlaken Tourism and Jungfrau Railways.

This really is not the first time the filmmaker was honoured this way. He was awarded the honorary title of “Ambassador of Interlaken” in 2011 by the government of Interlaken, and a train was named by Jungfrau Railways after him – an honour shared only with the railway’s founder, Adolf Guyer.
