One Life to Live star Nathaniel Marston has expired in the age of 40 after sustaining injuries from a critical car accident in October.
Marston was in critical condition, fighting pneumonia, a heart infection and irregular heartbeat, and was believed to live out his life .
His mother, Elizabeth Jackson, verified the awful news of his death on Facebook earlier tonight. “It is with a heavy heart that I share this devastating news,” she wrote.
“My precious and cherished son… who was putting up the great fight until last night was not able to continue as a result of the traumatic and dreadful nature of his injuries. Nathaniel passed away calmly as His mother held him in my arms.”
Had Nathaniel lived he might have required a ventilator and also would not have been able to voice an additional word and also would have already been sentenced to life as a quadriplegic.
“A state that Nate would have never have been able to take. By Gods love and mercy Nathaniel was saved this living hell and has traveled on to be with God, his cherished Grandmother Mary Jackson, Grandpa John Jackson and my sister his Aunt Nora.”
As for funeral arrangements, Jackson shares a memorial will be held in nyc, Kauai and Gerlach, Nev. “As soon as dates for these services are understood they will soon be posted,” Jackson wrote.
Marston has also appeared White Collar, Law & Order: SVU, Castle and Blue Bloods.
