New Horizons latest pictures reveal Pluto’s biggest moon Charon’s colourful and violent history

Washington: Nasa’s New Horizons probe has returned the very best resolution pictures as well as the best colour of Pluto’s biggest moon Charon which reveal a violent and surprisingly intricate history.

Many New Horizons scientists anticipated Charon to be a monotonous, crater-battered planet.
