Oil tanker explosion kills over 100

Over 100 people were killed and many injured in South Sudan when an oil tanker exploded, authorities said.

Kisagna said the event happened on Wednesday, including that around 50 people were severely injured.

The minister said that “those individuals may not live because we don’t possess the facilities to take care of the exceptionally burned individuals”.

The medical director of Maridi Civil Hospital, Chandi Savior, said the hospital urgently needs more supplies of principles including IV fluids, oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, anti-tetanus and pain relievers.
