OMG! Fawad Khan FINALLY breaks his silence on Pakistani artistes ban – read statement!

And he speaks up! Fawad Khan eventually gives a heartfelt reaction after keeping questionable silence over the entire issue surrounding the prohibition on Pakistani artists in India. Yes! Taking up to Facebook, he’s issued an official statement clarifying,  “I’ve been in Lahore since July as my wife and I had been expecting our second child. I’ve received numerous requests from the media and from well wishers worldwide asking me for my thoughts on the sad incidents that took place in the past few weeks. As a father of two little children, I pray and wish like many others that together we can build and live in a more peaceful world. I believe we owe it to our children who will shape our tomorrow. This is the first time I have spoken on the matter. Please disregard any other words attributed to me during this time because I have not said them. I thank all my fans and fellow artists from Pakistan, India and people in general all over the world who have shown continued support for their belief in love and understanding to unite a divisive world.”

Although IMPPA has let and in its latest discussion has revised the prohibition on Pakistani performers Fawad’s next picture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to release across the nation. But the fact Fawad was also panned for making insensitive comments which were not said by him in first place and was ridiculed for being a Pakistani, is definitely something that went way too far. In fact, there were even open letters all over which questioned Fawad and the rest of the Pakistani performers for not condemning the prohibition. But think, Fawad has put an end to all the claims of being by a betrayer or this one Facebook post. It ’s left to see if Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees actress Mahira Khan also will express her thoughts on this controversial debate.
