OPS! Beyoncé Arrived at the Met Gala Without Jay Z
The star arrived to the 2016 Met Gala night, apparently about a week after Beyoncé stoked speculation about her union with explosive Lemonade lyrics sans Jay Z.
The Grammy winner arrived in a futuristic Givenchy gown, crafted from naked latex, that fit the year’s subject—Manus x Machina: Trend in a Age of Technology. The star told Vogue the development was more easy to get into than the crystal-adorned head turner—also Givenchy—that she wore to the occasion of last year.
The stag look happens just two years after Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Solange Knowles made headlines courtesy of leaked security footage, which revealed Solange physically assaulting Jay Z in the lift of a Met Gala afterparty while Beyoncé stood by eerily. Infidelity rumors that have shadowed the couple the previous two years were started by the grainy video.
