Pakistani latest hit movie “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” breaks Waar record

Pakistan’s latest release ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’ (JPNA) has ended ‘Waar’ reign when it comes to box office group. Of Rs234 million, JPNA has surpassed ‘Waar’ box office set within three weeks of its release.

According to a local media report, the approximate box office groups of Waar stood at Rs234 million after its extended run. JPNA edged out the Bilal Lashari picture after its collections exceeded Rs260 million on Monday. “It is officially the highest-grossing movie in Pakistani films as it surpassed the records of ‘Waar’ and ‘Angry 7’ on the weekend,” support a ARY Films representative.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, as Pakistan’s most prized venture of the entire year, was being touted before its launch and it lived up to every word of its hype. The picture is now the highest grossing picture of all time, beating on the remarkable record of Waar!

The picture had made records that were broken and an impressing advent in the box office on its first day. The move raked in an impressive Rs 20.7 million on its first day of launch.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani did face a little rivalry when local movies alongside it were also releasing, yet none was able to take its glow as JPNA cruised along the box office and gathered an impressive moolah. Humayun Saeed had high expectations from the movie prior to its release and had said that it will be a hit upon release.

There are many facets of the picture with which the Pakistani audience members joined. To begin with, it has an ensemble cast to its name such as Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Mehwish Hayat, Ayesha Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Uzma Khan, Bushra Ansari, Javed Sheikh, Suhai Ali Abro and Ismail Tara.

Second, the humour immediately has everyone’s funny bone tickling. Vasay Chaudhry has outdone himself with a script that was marvelous and the timing of Ahmed Butt is of the essence! This rehearsed each step in advance and also happens to be possibly the first Pakistani movie where the celebrities seem to have worked at the dances. Expert choreographers were hired to train the actors and actresses in learning the distinct and diverse dance steps in the picture.
