Playboy ends Kate Moss copyright discontinued lawsuits against two Canadian publications

The copyright suits against Toronto-based Contempo Media and Montreal’s Indecent Xposure had sought up to $50,000 in damages from each factory outlet.

Founder of Indecent Xposure, Nick Younes, said he was happy with the results but unable to discuss the details.

The on-line IX Daily, which features articles on culture, music and fashion in Canada is published by indecent Xposure.

One particular article was on the Kate Moss spread two years past in Playboy, which ignited reports from publications all over the world.

Its president, John McGouran, supported the suit against his outlet had also been discontinued.

Bob Sotiriadis, the Montreal lawyer acting for Playboy, did not immediately respond to your request for comment.
