Politics: PTI, allies all set to launch ‘Ihtasaab Rally’ in Lahore today
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will exhibit it’s political strength Saturday (today) against Panama Leaks problem in Lahore.
The slogan of Ehtesab march would function as the demand of holding the ruling PML-N accountable for their alleged advantages revealed in Panama Leaks, in the city believed to be the stronghold of the PML -N.
Nevertheless, groundwork for PTI’s rally are in full swing as the container of PTI chief has reached the city on Thursday.
From Shahdara Imran Khan, riding on the top of his container, will lead a rally which will pass from GPO Chowk, Nasir Bagh and Bhatti Gate and reach its destination at the Charing Cross.
The PTI leader will address the participants of the rally and declare the following course of action.
The party leaders are anticipating numerous people participating in its movement against the authorities.
The security for the rally has been split into three parts according to the security strategy.
CCPO Lahore has said that the rally will be provided fool-proof security. He said that 5,000 policemen have been deployed at nine kilometer route of the rally.
Previously, a meeting of Lahore Authorities happened in which it was determined that eight SPs, 20 DSPs, 72
SHOs and 4000 cops will provide security to the rally.
Based on PTI sources, the members of Insaf Youth Wing, Insaf Tiger Force and Insaf Student Federation will ensure that no untoward incident took place during the party’s protest rally.
Furthermore, walk through gates, barriers, barbed-wires may also be set at the entry points of the gathering and Rescue 1122 teams will even be there on the occasion.
