Power breakdown early Friday morning hit half the city of Karachi

An electricity failure early Friday morning strike at half the town of Karachi.

“The current electricity disruption is brought on by tripping in the additional high tension line, which has changed a few grid stations,” Kelectric verified. Due to power failure, reports said, water supply to Karachi was likewise changed as pumping stations in Gharo Dhabeji and Pipri places went without electricity.

“Restoration work is underway and most places have been energised,” the firm tweeted. The residents stormed twitter with inquests @KElectricPk to which a KElectricPk tweeted back:Nearly three hours following the first dislocation, social networking users reported electricity was restored to specific areas of DHA, KDA, Gulistan I Johar and Saddar.
